Valves: PVC, CPVC and Metal

Valves play a critical role in controlling the flow of liquids inside pipes of all types. From emergency shutoff in a disaster to preventing backflow and even assisting in drainage, valves fulfill a number of critical applications, and they come in all types, including PVC, CPVC, and metal valves.

Each type of valve has its own unique properties and is best suited for specific applications. For instance, some valve types can handle high-temperature liquids, while others are better suited for cooler temperatures. Some are built to withstand extreme pressure, while others are rated for low-pressure applications. Understanding the differences between all of the valve types will help you choose the one that’s ideal for your application.  By using the links on the left side of this page, you can find the exact valve you need and the right size.  Generally our valves fall into these three categories though:

  • PVC Valves
  • CPVC Valves
  • Metal Valves
