Reducing (FPT)

When building your pipeline, you may sometimes need to connect two pieces of pipe together that have different diameters, or you may need to reduce the size of your pipe at a certain point in your system. Schedule 80 CPVC reducing couplings let you securely connect a bigger pipe to a smaller pipe for a leak-free connection or reduce the size of your line. Our FPT reducing couplings have female-threaded ends, so you can connect them to male-threaded-end pipe without a need for adhesive.

More about Schedule 80 CPVC FPT Reducing Couplings...

CPVC is an excellent material for reducing couplings for a number of reasons. First, CPVC is able to tolerate higher temperatures than regular PVC. These Schedule 80 CPVC FPT reducing couplings are rated to handle temperatures up to 200⁰ F. Standard PVC, on the other hand, can only withstand temperatures up to 140⁰ F. Additionally, schedule 80 PVC can handle higher pressures than schedule 40 PVC.

Noteworthy features include:

  • Manufactured from schedule 80 CPVC
  • Female-threaded ends
  • Connects pipe of different diameters together
  • Corrosion resistant
  • Maximum operating temperature of 200⁰ F
  • Available in multiple sizes

We have a wide collection of schedule 80 CPVC FPT reducing couplings available, so check them out today.
