Reducing schedule 40 PVC tees combine or split piping systems at a 90-degree angle, while reducing the flow of liquid. One end does not match the diameter of the other two, thus creating the flow reduction.

Reducing tees are available with different ends – two slip socket ends and one FPT end or all socket ends. Slip socket ends must be sealed and secured using a cement solvent. FPT ends can be screwed on and off, making them easy to detach should further work need to be done on a line.
